Ingredients

For the Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons pickle relish drained
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard Dijon recommended
  • 1 teaspoon sugar adjust if using sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

For the Tacos:

  • 12 mini flour tortillas
  • 1 pound 80/20 ground beef
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 1 white onion diced
  • Dill pickle chips
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

Make the Big Mac Sauce:

  • Mix Sauce Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients: mayonnaise, pickle relish, ketchup, mustard, sugar, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and white pepper. Stir until well mixed. Adjust the taste as necessary. Set aside.

Prepare the Tacos:

  • Prep Tortillas & Beef: Lay out the mini flour tortillas. Take the ground beef and season it with salt and pepper. Place about 1/4 cup of ground beef on each tortilla, spreading it out to cover the surface to the edges. You want the beef layer to be thin, mimicking the thin patties of a Big Mac.

Cook the Tacos:

  • Heat a Skillet: Place a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface.
  • Cook Beef Side Down: Place the tortillas beef side down on the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the beef gets a nice brown crust.
  • Add Cheese & Flip: Once the beef is cooked, flip the taco. Immediately place a slice of American cheese on the cooked beef side. Let it melt as the other side of the tortilla cooks to a golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Repeat: Continue with the remaining tacos.

Assemble the Big Mac Tacos:

  • Add Toppings: Open the tacos gently (they should be soft and pliable). Add shredded lettuce, diced white onion, and pickle chips on top of the melted cheese.
  • Drizzle with Big Mac Sauce: Spoon a generous amount of the Big Mac sauce over the toppings.
  • Serve: Serve the tacos immediately while warm and crispy.
