Sugar Free Strawberry Jam

This jam is sweet, thick, and bursting with fresh strawberry goodness!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Strawberries sliced; fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend plus more to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon zest optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the strawberries. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they soften and release their juices.
  • Mash the strawberries with a spoon or potato masher. For a smoother texture, use an immersion blender.
  • Remove from heat and taste the jam. If it needs more sweetness, add sweetener gradually, one tablespoon at a time.
  • Mix in the chia seeds and lemon zest, if desired. Let the jam cool for 5-10 minutes to thicken.
  • For a thicker consistency, add 1-3 more teaspoons of chia seeds. Remember, it will thicken further in the fridge.
